Samsung Galaxy S5 is almost here!

The long wait for Samsung Galaxy S5 is finally over: Samsung has finally taken the wraps off its flagship mobile device. It was announced this Monday (February 24th) at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in Spain.

There weren’t practically changes in the design.
The company said it had "decided to go back to basics". They kept the same formula as the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy S4 but with a few cosmetic changes. Metal body design? Nope. The device now has a pebbled silver back that looks like it's metal but is actually polycarbonate. Samsung calls it "perforated" and also a "modern glam look." It still has the home button but has been designed to maximize screen real state to show off Samsung’s display technology.

The New Surprises

The Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM, a 2,800 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. Other key features of the Galaxy S5 is a fingerprint scanner (similar to the one Apple uses in the iPhone 5s) and water-resistant.

The device will come in four different colors: “charcoal Black, shimmery White, electric Blue and copper Gold”. According to Samsung, The Galaxy S5 will be available worldwide on April 11th 2014. And for those who ask about price, has not yet been announced.
